Job Description
The Travel and Contracting Officer will be responsible for managing all travel logistics and contracting processes for field staff and partners. This includes negotiating contracts with travel service providers, ensuring compliance with travel policies, coordinating bookings, and processing expense reimbursements. The role requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure cost-effective and efficient travel arrangements while maintaining high service standards. The officer will work closely with finance and program teams to align travel arrangements with project budgets and timelines.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or related field; 3+ years of experience in travel coordination or contracting; strong organizational and communication skills; proficiency in travel booking systems and contract management software; ability to work under tight deadlines; familiarity with Rwanda's travel regulations and business environment.
