Content Marketing Intern (AI-focused)

Job Description

This internship position will work with the Marketing team in the Partnership and Innovation Section to support the development and optimization of AI-driven workflows for tailored content creation. The role focuses on expanding in-house content production capacity and contributing to Inspired Gifts' sales, which are tangible, life-saving items provided by UNICEF for children and families in need worldwide. Responsibilities include contributing to AI workflow development, structuring existing content into reusable knowledge bases, optimizing prompts for AI-generated outputs, creating and adapting content using AI tools, and supporting monitoring and reporting on content performance. The intern will also perform other tasks as assigned by the Marketing Team. The position offers learning objectives such as gaining hands-on experience in AI-driven workflows, developing skills in prompt design and content optimization, contributing to audience-centric digital storytelling for fundraising, understanding UNICEF’s fundraising and programming approaches, and developing cross-cultural communication skills in a diverse international environment.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university degree (undergraduate or postgraduate) in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science and Technology, Integrated Media Technology and Operations, Digital Marketing, Linguistics, or related field; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret content performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements; Familiarity with AI tools and platforms (e.g., Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Coze, Dify, n8n, ChatGPT), with a basic understanding of how AI models and prompts work, and how to design effective prompt structures; Experience in building AI-driven workflows for content creation is a plus; Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin; Must have no immediate relatives working in any UNICEF offices; Must demonstrate UNICEF’s Core Values of Care, Respect, Integrity, Trust, Accountability, and Sustainability (CRITAS); Must be willing to comply with current or future vaccination requirements if mandated by UNICEF.
