Job Description
The Head of Unit, Recruitment & Pool Management (R&PM) leads a team of Recruiters and Pool Managers to ensure effective sourcing and matching for both International Mobile Staff (IMS) in the field and HQ staff. This role oversees the full recruitment lifecycle, including pool management, career advising, and professional development for IMS. The position drives innovative approaches to talent acquisition, retention, and workforce planning, ensuring WaCA’s capacity to respond to operational demands with a competent and diverse workforce. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing recruitment and pool management strategies aligned with MSF WaCA's operational priorities, overseeing recruitment processes for efficiency and inclusivity, managing talent pools through statistical analysis, and fostering a collaborative team culture focused on innovation. The role also involves designing career development policies, collaborating with Learning & Development teams, and representing MSF WaCA in international HR forums to contribute to global HR strategies.
Requirements
Master’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or a related field; ability to adapt to the international humanitarian sector and new environments; strong leadership skills with a proven ability to drive change; experience in recruitment, talent pool management, and workforce planning; knowledge of applicant tracking systems and data integrity; commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) principles; experience in safeguarding and safe recruitment practices; proficiency in French and English is an asset.
