Terms of Reference (TOR) - Short Term Service Contract: Documentary Production on CRMRS in Masaka, Uganda

The consultant will be responsible for producing a documentary focused on the Child Rights Monitoring and Remediation System (CRMRS) in the Greater Masaka region, Uganda. This includes capturing footage, conducting interviews with key stakeholders, and compiling a visually compelling narrative that highlights the impact of the CRMRS on child protection in coffee supply chains. The documentary must align with Terre des hommes' safeguarding policies and data protection requirements, ensuring all materials remain confidential and the property of Tdh. The consultant will work closely with Tdh's Child Rights and Business (CRB) team to ensure the documentary reflects the project's objectives, including the prevention and remediation of child labor and other child rights violations. Deliverables include a final documentary video, raw footage, and a brief report summarizing the production process and key insights.

Proven experience in documentary production, videography, and photography; strong understanding of child rights and safeguarding principles; ability to manage timelines and deliver high-quality outputs within strict deadlines; familiarity with data protection and confidentiality protocols; proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro); excellent communication and interpersonal skills for conducting interviews; willingness to adhere to Terre des hommes' Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct; prior experience working in child protection or related fields is highly desirable.
