• Consult and handle all corporate legal processes in regards to, including but not limited to: mergers & acquisitions and other corporate transactions, intellectual property, compliance issues, commercial transactions, contracts and agreements, lawsuits and litigations, other legal matters, etc.; • Develop and continuously improve the Group policy and position on legal issues (Legal Manual); • Research, anticipate and protect the Group Companies against legal risks; • Advise and guide the Group Executive Team, managers and employees to ensure compliance awareness and practical compliance with rules and regulations; • Structure, draft and review reports, legal documents, legal letters, etc.; • Represent the Group Companies interests in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court hearings and litigations, arbitration, etc.); • Draft, review and administer all contracts and agreements; • Consult and assist stakeholders in negotiating the deals; • Liaise with government offices and agencies • LLB Degree, LLM Degree in Law strongly preferable. • 3+ years of experience in a similar role in a similar multinational corporate organization or Top private practice law office in Ethiopia, ideally experience in FMCG and foreign investments. • International experience is advantageous but not essential. • Language skills: Proficient Spoken/Written knowledge of English and Amharic, preferably also Oromifa.
