Amharic Teachers (FOR GRADE 1 – 8)
Job Description
Teach Amharic language and literature to students in a culturally immersive environment at Zoma Museum PLC. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with national curriculum standards. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Foster a supportive learning atmosphere that integrates language instruction with Ethiopian cultural heritage. Collaborate with other educators to enhance interdisciplinary learning experiences. Participate in school events and community outreach programs to promote linguistic and cultural awareness.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Amharic Language or Education; minimum of 2 years of teaching experience; proficiency in Amharic and English; strong communication and classroom management skills; familiarity with Ethiopian cultural studies is an advantage; teaching certification or equivalent qualification.
