Sponsorship Coordinator

The Sponsorship Coordinator will be responsible for managing and overseeing the sponsorship programs within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to recruit, engage, and retain sponsors for various projects and initiatives. The Coordinator will work closely with the fundraising team, program managers, and field staff to ensure alignment with organizational goals and donor expectations. Key responsibilities include maintaining sponsor relationships, coordinating communication between sponsors and beneficiaries, tracking sponsorship progress, and ensuring timely reporting to stakeholders. The role requires a strong understanding of donor engagement principles, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field; minimum of 3 years of experience in program coordination, donor relations, or community development; strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience in report writing and data analysis; ability to work independently and in a team; understanding of child sponsorship principles and donor engagement strategies.
