Head of Department of Business Administration at East African University Rwanda

The Head of Department of Business Administration at East African University Rwanda will be responsible for leading and managing the academic and administrative functions of the Business Administration department. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing academic programs, overseeing faculty recruitment and development, ensuring curriculum quality and relevance, fostering industry partnerships, and managing departmental budgets and resources. The role involves coordinating with other departments to ensure interdisciplinary collaboration, promoting research and innovation within the department, and representing the department in university-wide initiatives. The Head of Department will also be expected to mentor junior faculty members, evaluate academic performance, and ensure compliance with national and international educational standards.

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (PhD preferred); minimum of 7 years of teaching experience in a university setting; proven leadership in academic administration; experience in curriculum development and accreditation processes; strong research publication record; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in English (French and Kinyarwanda are advantageous); familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and digital learning tools.
