Accountant

Our client, an international company offering global transportation and supply chain solutions is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and providing support to the Finance Manager. They will also ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and prepared in compliance with company standards and accounting principles. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents. - Assist in processing and managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring that invoices are paid on time and customer payments are processed efficiently. - Help in reconciling the company’s bank accounts and verifying financial transactions, ensuring that all entries are correct. - Support the preparation of financial reports, including monthly balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. - Assist in tracking and recording company expenses and provide support in ensuring expenses are within budget. - Help in the preparation and filing of tax returns (VAT, PAYE, etc.), ensuring all taxes are filed on time. - Assist in maintaining accurate records of company inventory and supplies, ensuring financial records align with stock levels. - Provide assistance during audits by ensuring all records and documentation are available and accurate.

Key Qualifications: - A relevant Bachelor’s degree. - Must be CPA Intermediate Level - At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance role. - Familiarity with accounting software. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software. - Experience in stock management.
