Key Duties & Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Records: Maintain accurate ledger entries, support month-end/year-end closing processes, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Reconciliations & Cash Management: Conduct regular bank reconciliations, monitor daily cash flow, and track accounts payable and receivable. Cost Control & Budgeting: Assist in budget preparation, cost tracking, expenditure monitoring, and fixed asset/inventory management. Audit & Compliance: Prepare schedules and documentation for internal/external audits, ensuring full compliance with tax laws, statutory reporting, and donor guidelines. Process Improvement: Continuously review and strengthen accounting workflows and internal control systems. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional qualification (CPA(T) or ACCA) is an added advantage. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience. Prior accounting experience within a hospital, medical facility, or non-profit healthcare organization is an added advantage. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial/ERP software, specifically SAP. Key Competencies Solid understanding of financial reporting, tax regulations, and internal controls. High analytical acumen, accuracy, and attention to detail. High integrity, accountability, and ability to deliver quality results under minimal supervision.
