The Financial Planning & Analyst will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for Lancet General Hospital. This role involves analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management to support decision-making. The analyst will collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment of financial goals with operational activities, monitor financial performance, and prepare detailed financial reports. Additionally, the role requires maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting audit processes. The position demands strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial software, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in internal audit or a related field; professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA is highly desirable; proficiency in audit software (e.g., ACL, IDEA); strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and report-writing abilities in English and Amharic; familiarity with Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations.
