Kiswahili Teacher
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Kiswahili Teacher to join our team at Moi Educational Centre in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Kiswahili language instruction to students, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment, and implementing the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) framework. The role involves planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting learners in achieving their academic goals. The teacher will also collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methodologies and contribute to the overall development of the school community. Strong classroom management skills, a learner-centered teaching approach, and a commitment to professional growth are essential for this position.
Requirements
CBC trained with demonstrable understanding of competency-based pedagogy, assessment, and learner support; strong classroom management skills; learner-centered teaching approach; strong subject knowledge in Kiswahili; leadership and classroom management skills; at least five years of teaching experience; PI Certificate from a recognized institution; Diploma in ECDE minimum; TSC certificate and active (mandatory);
