Trade Development Representative (TDR) - Pioneer

This role focuses on driving retailer awareness and turnaround for SIMs and Float while ensuring visibility and merchandising standards at point of purchase for SSOs (Selling Service Outlets) and T-Kash agents. The Trade Development Representative will be responsible for identifying and recruiting agents, primarily targeting mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores. Regular visits to SSOs and agents will be conducted using agreed route plans (beat plans) to maintain call rates and ensure compliance with business tools and processes. The role involves providing and training agents on transaction tools, enforcing stock rules (1.5x stock rule for agents and adequate SIM stock for SSOs), and maintaining merchandising standards by availing merchandising materials at outlets. Additionally, the role includes training agents on AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and SSOs on KYC (Know Your Customer) processes related to SIMREG.

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field; At least 1 year of experience in sales and distribution roles within FMCG or telecommunications sectors; Customer focus; Influencing and negotiation skills; Networking and partnership-building abilities; Analytical thinking skills.
