Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager will oversee all daily warehouse operations for a prominent pharmaceutical importer and distributor, ensuring efficient, safe, and accurate inventory management. This role involves leading a warehouse team, maintaining strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and local drug authority regulations. The manager will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, expiry dates, and batch numbers to prevent shortages or wastage, as well as overseeing the picking, packing, and dispatch of pharmaceutical orders with precision and timeliness. Additionally, the position requires handling product recalls, quarantines, and damaged/expired stock procedures, while ensuring a safe working environment adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards. The manager will also develop and implement warehouse strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize operational performance, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to motivate and develop a skilled team are essential for this role.

Bachelors’ Degree in Stores Management or Bachelors’ Degree in Business or any related field; Previous experience in pharmaceutical warehouse management is an added advantage; Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; Professional computer and MS-Office skills; Strong leadership skills to effectively manage the warehouse team; Strong knowledge of supply chain management; Proven management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development; Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills coupled with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels within the business; Ability to build, lead, and motivate a skilled team; Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities; Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; Ability to work independently and as part of the team; Working knowledge of Tally accounting system.
