Debt Collections Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Debt Collections Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and recovering outstanding debts from clients through effective communication, negotiation, and follow-up strategies. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial situations and develop repayment plans that are mutually beneficial. The role involves maintaining accurate records of all collection activities, preparing reports on collection performance, and ensuring compliance with relevant debt collection laws and regulations. You will also collaborate with the legal department when necessary to escalate unresolved cases. This position requires a strong understanding of debt recovery processes, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Minimum of 2 years of experience in debt collections, customer service, or a related role; Strong negotiation and communication skills in English; Proficiency in using debt collection software and Microsoft Office tools; Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations; Ability to work under pressure and meet collection targets; Experience in handling sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
