SAP Finance Control Consultant

Our client is a leading international agribusiness and FMCG group with a significant and growing footprint across Africa. In Tanzania, the business operates large-scale agricultural operations, edible oils, manufacturing, refining, and downstream consumer products, supporting local supply chains and regional distribution across East Africa. The group is heavily investing in operational expansion, industrial capability, and long-term market growth across the continent, with a strong focus on building high-performing local and expatriate leadership teams in finance, operations, engineering, commercial, and general management functions. The SAP Finance Control Consultant will be responsible for understanding business requirements, preparing blueprints for project implementation, validating report requirements, and ensuring SAP FICO modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Controlling Profitability Analysis, and Product Costing) are properly configured and tested. The role involves designing, customizing, and configuring SAP FICO modules, identifying gaps and issues, providing end-user training and support, and handling day-to-day queries to enhance SAP functionality based on user requirements.

Graduation in Finance and Accounts; experience supporting General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Asset Accounting (FA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Controlling Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Product Costing (PC); understanding of accounting business processes; capacity to work in a group domain and collaborate effectively; experience with FI integration with other SAP-based ERP modules like MM, HR, PP, and PM; ability to perform multiple tasks and manage diverse expectations simultaneously; good communication and presentation skills; proficiency in MS Office applications and Jira (ticketing tool); SAP certification will be an added advantage.
