Quality Control Engineer
Job Description
The Wash Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) projects in rural and urban communities. Key responsibilities include assessing community needs, developing project proposals, overseeing construction of water systems, latrines, and hygiene facilities, and ensuring compliance with national and international WASH standards. The role involves collaborating with local authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders to promote sustainable WASH practices. Additionally, the engineer will provide technical training to community members and conduct regular monitoring and evaluation to ensure project success.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, or a related field; minimum of 3 years of experience in WASH project implementation; strong knowledge of water supply systems, sanitation technologies, and hygiene promotion; proficiency in project management software; excellent communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda; ability to work in remote and challenging environments.
