Systems Engineer

To ensure the stability, integrity, security, and efficient operation of the organization's IT infrastructure by managing servers, networks, desktop environments, and data center operations while supporting business-critical systems, delivering technical support, and driving continuous improvement of IT services. Primary responsibilities include performing daily administration of servers (operating system installation, software deployment, patch management, firmware updates, hardware upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, account management, backups, restores, file share permissions, printer configuration, and performance optimization), providing technical support for desktop, server, network, and infrastructure environments, and performing system upgrades, infrastructure enhancements, solution design, and deployment activities. Additional duties involve supporting the administration of virtualization platforms, databases, servers, and enterprise network infrastructure, evaluating operational processes to recommend improvements, investigating complex technical issues to identify root causes and implement long-term corrective solutions, and collaborating with ICT teams to ensure reliable operation of business systems and infrastructure. The role also includes working with management and business stakeholders to identify business requirements, define system objectives, and resolve technology-related issues, as well as designing and deploying new applications, software enhancements, and operating system improvements.
