Job Description
The Commissioning Completions Engineer is a technical role focused on coordinating completion activities and supporting the safe, logical progression of project stages. This position offers the opportunity to work within a major engineering environment connected to the energy transition, with strong exposure to turnover and documentation processes. The Commissioning Completions Engineer will play an important part in maintaining project momentum by ensuring completion records, quality documentation, and turnover requirements are effectively managed. This Commissioning Completions Engineer opportunity is well suited to candidates with strong completions experience and a background in complex engineering or energy projects. Role Context This role sits within the renewables, oil and gas, and wider engineering sector, supporting project completion and turnover activities as part of a major-scale project environment. The position works closely with the Completions Lead and Completions Manager, contributing to the safe and planned delivery of project stages. Key Responsibilities Coordinate completion activities to support the structured progression of the project through its various stages. Facilitate turnover and reporting activities using completions software. Manage tag data changes and carry out verification activities. Proactively follow up on outstanding quality checks and required documentation. Process and review documentation received from the field. Work with multiple teams to help expedite remaining completion works. Support the Completions Manager and provide cover during absence when required. Oversee the preparation of turnover dossiers with support from other team members.
Requirements
Essential: - Proven experience managing and operating proprietary completion software systems. - Previous experience using a completions management database. - Experience with Hexagon Smart Completion system on major-scale projects. - Background within the renewables, oil and gas, or engineering industry. - Strong administration experience with the ability to review and manage technical documentation. - Computer literacy across Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
