Finance Officer

Our client, a leading IT and Cybersecurity consulting company in Texas is seeking to recruit a Finance Officer. The company supports small to medium-sized business by providing strategic IT services. The successful candidate will be required to support accounting functions such as Accounts payable and receivables, submitting tax transactions and invoicing. The ideal candidate Must possess a minimum of 10 years’ experience. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. - Develop and manage a chart of accounts that defines bookkeeping policies and procedures. - Oversee vendor bill payments through Bill.com, ensuring timely processing. - Issue client invoices, collect payments, and facilitate on-time payments through our client payment portal, Connect Booster. - Maintain financial records and documentation, ensuring that all financial data is accurately recorded and readily accessible for auditing and reporting purposes. - Assist in preparing and filing statutory documents and reports to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. - Responsible for filing and management of all documents. - Any other financial/accounting function that is reasonably expected of the position.

Must have completed Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required. Proficient in using financial software and tools. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Discretion and ability to handle confidential information. Proficient in spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis tools. Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles, including accruals and revenue recognition. Minimum of 10 years’ experience.
