Finance & Accounting Division Head

The Finance & Accounting Division Head will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and managing the division’s strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities include: - Leading a team of finance professionals to maintain accurate financial records and reports. - Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance. - Managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. - Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders and regulatory bodies. - Collaborating with senior management to align financial strategies with organizational goals. - Overseeing tax compliance and optimizing tax strategies to minimize liabilities. - Providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making. - Managing relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions. - Ensuring the integrity and security of financial data and systems. - Leading initiatives to improve financial processes and systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA; Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in internal auditing or a related field; Strong knowledge of internal audit standards and frameworks; Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite; Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects; Fluency in English and Amharic (written and verbal); Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector is a plus.
