Job Description
The Nurse/Midwife β Research Intervention Implementation and Data Collection Officer will be responsible for implementing the HealthyStart intervention package, delivering maternal, newborn, and child health services, and supporting research activities. The role involves collecting high-quality study data, working closely with health facility staff and community health workers, and ensuring the smooth execution of maternal, newborn, and child health interventions. The officer will also contribute to data analysis and reporting, ensuring that research findings are accurately documented and utilized for program improvements. This position requires a strong background in nursing/midwifery, research methodology, and data management, with a focus on improving health outcomes through evidence-based practices.
Requirements
Bachelorβs degree in Nursing or Midwifery; Registered Nurse/Midwife with a valid license; Minimum of 3 years of experience in maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH); Experience in research data collection and management; Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, or similar); Strong communication and teamwork skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment; Knowledge of research ethics and data confidentiality; Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda (French is an asset).
