Lab Technician/Biomedical Engineer

The Lab Technician / Biomedical Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair of biomedical and laboratory equipment to ensure reliable performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications. This role involves installing, user training, commissioning, testing, and validating laboratory equipment at customer sites. The position requires performing preventive and corrective maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance, diagnosing and repairing equipment faults in accordance with manufacturer specifications, and conducting equipment calibration, performance verification, and functional testing where applicable. The Biomedical Engineer will ensure compliance with company policies, manufacturer guidelines, and applicable health and safety standards. They will work closely with the sales and technical teams to support business growth and customer satisfaction, and perform any other duties assigned by the Technical Manager.

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University or Institution; 1 year of experience in installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of biomedical or laboratory equipment; knowledge of manufacturer specifications and health and safety standards; ability to work closely with sales and technical teams; strong problem-solving and communication skills.
