CIS Year 5 Home Room Teacher
Job Description
Deliver engaging Cambridge International English and Humanities lessons that encourage critical thinking and academic growth among Year 5 students. Prepare and assess candidate classes through ongoing evaluation, feedback, and exam readiness support to ensure learners are fully prepared for Cambridge Checkpoint assessments. Serve as Homeroom Teacher, monitoring student progress, maintaining open communication with parents and colleagues, and fostering a supportive learning environment. Collaborate with the school leadership and other teachers to implement the Cambridge curriculum effectively. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities to enhance the holistic development of students.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Education (English and Humanities), or a related field with a recognized teaching qualification; At least 3 years of teaching experience; Proven experience preparing learners for Cambridge Checkpoint; TSC certificate and active (mandatory); Strong classroom management and communication skills; Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented school environment.
