Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a motivated Junior Tender & Cost Estimation Engineer to join our dynamic team at MIDROC CONSTRUCTION ETHIOPIA PLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for road and infrastructure projects, analyzing project specifications, and developing tender documents. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost projections and competitive bidding strategies. The role involves conducting site visits to assess project feasibility, preparing bill of quantities, and ensuring compliance with national construction standards and regulations. Additionally, you will participate in budget planning, cost control measures, and risk assessment for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; minimum of 2 years of experience in cost estimation and tender preparation for road and infrastructure projects; proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar); strong analytical and numerical skills; ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications; excellent communication and teamwork abilities; familiarity with Ethiopian construction standards and regulations.
