Fundraising Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fundraising Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative fundraising strategies to support our mission-driven projects. Key responsibilities include identifying and cultivating relationships with potential donors, writing compelling grant proposals, organizing fundraising events, and managing donor communications. The role requires a strong understanding of donor engagement, excellent writing and presentation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Fundraising Specialist will collaborate closely with the executive team and program managers to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization's ability to create positive change in communities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor relations; Proven track record of securing funding from diverse sources including foundations, corporations, and individual donors; Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus); Strong project management and organizational skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and donor management software; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Passion for the organization’s mission and values.
