Drier and Grain Mill Process Operator

The Drier and Grain Mill Process Operator will be responsible for overseeing and managing the grain drying and milling processes to ensure optimal efficiency, quality, and safety standards are maintained. Key responsibilities include operating and monitoring grain drying equipment, adjusting process parameters to meet production targets, performing routine maintenance on machinery, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. The role involves collaborating with the production team to troubleshoot issues, maintaining accurate records of production activities, and adhering to environmental and safety protocols. The operator will also be expected to conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products to ensure consistency and adherence to industry standards.

Minimum of a Diploma in Agricultural Engineering, Food Science, or a related field; 3+ years of experience in grain processing operations, preferably in a milling or drying facility; strong knowledge of grain handling, drying techniques, and milling processes; proficiency in operating and maintaining industrial drying and milling equipment; ability to read and interpret technical manuals and process diagrams; familiarity with food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP); basic computer skills for data recording and reporting; strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; ability to work in a team and follow safety protocols.
