The Climate Finance Senior Officer/Project Manager will play a pivotal role in leading and managing climate finance initiatives within GGGI's Ethiopia program. The role involves coordinating with government agencies, multilateral institutions, and private sector partners to mobilize resources and ensure effective project execution. Key deliverables include securing funding for green growth projects, monitoring project progress, and reporting on impact to stakeholders. The position requires strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with GGGI's mission of poverty reduction, job creation, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability. Work environment includes frequent travel to project sites and collaboration with international teams.

Master's degree in Climate Finance, Economics, Environmental Science, or a related field; Minimum 7 years of professional experience in climate finance, project management, or a related field; Proven track record in securing and managing climate finance projects; Strong analytical and strategic planning skills; Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities; Proficiency in project management software and tools; Fluency in English (additional local languages are an asset); Experience working in developing countries, preferably in Africa.
