• Proactively identifying, sourcing and developing new B2B leads and business opportunities. • Researching and targeting prospective corporate clients and key decision-makers. • Initiating contact with prospective clients through calls, emails, networking, referrals and other business development channels. • Securing and conducting meetings with corporate decision-makers. • Understanding prospective clients’ business needs and positioning appropriate solutions. • Preparing and delivering compelling presentations, proposals and commercial pitches. • Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing corporate clients. • Managing opportunities throughout the entire sales pipeline, from initial engagement to negotiation and closure. • Following consistently on proposals and opportunities to improve conversion rates. • Negotiating commercial engagements and successfully closing new business. • Developing and maintaining a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities. • Growing the organisation’s corporate client portfolio and identifying opportunities for repeat and additional business. • Consistently working towards agreed sales and revenue targets. • Providing regular updates on prospects, pipeline development, client engagements and business won and contributing directly to the organisation’s overall revenue growth and market expansion. • 3–5 years of proven B2B sales or business development experience, preferably within professional services, consulting or solution-based corporate sales.
