Senior Data Associate - Health Tech Data Analysis

This role focuses on analyzing health technology data to derive actionable insights that support decision-making in the health sector. The Senior Data Associate will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and processing health-related datasets, performing statistical analysis, and developing data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders. Key responsibilities include collaborating with health tech teams to identify data needs, ensuring data quality and integrity, and contributing to the development of data-driven solutions for health programs. The role may involve working with health information systems, electronic health records, and other health data sources to support evidence-based interventions. The position requires a strong understanding of data analysis methodologies and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for health program managers and policymakers.

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, Health Informatics, or a related field; Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the health sector; Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, Stata, SPSS); Experience with health data systems (e.g., DHIS2, HMIS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI); Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders; Experience with SQL and database management; Familiarity with health metrics and indicators; Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
