Procurement Manager
Job Description
The Procurement Manager is responsible for end-to-end operational execution of procurement activities for raw materials, packaging, chemicals, and services, ensuring uninterrupted production, cost control, supplier performance compliance, and adherence to governance, ethics, and food safety standards. The role supports enterprise objectives by delivering value-for-money procurement, supply reliability, and controlled risk exposure in line with the department’s strategy. Key responsibilities include executing approved procurement plans aligned with production schedules and budgets, managing RFQs, tenders, and negotiations, maintaining audit-ready procurement documentation, leading and supervising a team of Procurement Officers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and anti-bribery standards. The role also involves preparing regular procurement performance reports, contributing to process improvements, negotiating commercial terms, managing supplier relationships, monitoring supplier KPIs, coordinating import and logistics activities, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, the role includes team leadership, capability development, governance, ethics and risk management, and reporting to the Director.
Requirements
MA Degree or BA Degree in Supply Chain Management or Materials Management or Management or Finance or Procurement and Logistics or related fields; 10 Years of Work Experience for MA Degree or 12 Years of Work Experience for BA Degree in Procurement Management or Negotiating Contracts or Managing Supplier Relationships and Implementing cost-saving Strategies to Optimize Procurement processes and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services; 3 years of experience in a Managerial position; Strong operational procurement expertise; Contract execution and negotiation capability; Knowledge of ISO, food safety, and compliance requirements; Cost and data analysis skills; Strong planning, organization, and reporting skills; High ethical standards and accountability; Effective communication and stakeholder coordination; Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel); People management and supervisory skills; Organization and attention to detail; Self-motivated and able to work independently; Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
