CDP – Cold Kitchen

Mount Meru Hotel, a premier Five-Star Hotel in Arusha, is seeking an experienced and energetic hospitality professional to join their kitchen department as a CDP (Commis Chef de Partie) specializing in Cold Kitchen. The role involves preparing and presenting high-quality cold dishes, including salads, appetizers, and desserts, while maintaining strict hygiene and food safety standards. The position requires close collaboration with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during peak hours and special events. The CDP – Cold Kitchen will report directly to the Head Chef or Sous Chef and is responsible for maintaining consistency in food presentation and taste. Immediate joiners will be given priority, reflecting the hotel's urgent need for this role.

4 to 5 years of relevant hospitality experience in a cold kitchen or similar environment; strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene standards; ability to supervise a small team; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; commitment to guest satisfaction and teamwork; immediate joiners will be given priority.
