Senior Software Developer

To evaluate and manage counterparty credit risk within Business Banking Commercial lending, ensuring sound credit decisions and portfolio quality while supporting structured trade finance and lending solutions. Responsibilities include providing direct credit evaluation services, identifying credit and risk management requirements, preparing Business Engagement Requests for appetite testing, presenting and defending credit evaluations, quantifying and evaluating sources of risk, and supporting teams in developing high-quality credit solutions. The role involves accurate use of Risk Based Pricing tools, proposing financial and non-financial covenants, monitoring portfolio quality using 'Condition of Sanction' triggers, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the role requires proactive processing of credit applications, monitoring credit facility utilization, and reviewing data correctness for financials and risk tools.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field; Other relevant qualifications including ACCA/CPA and post graduate qualifications will be an added advantage; At least 3 years' experience in Banking and/or Financial Services, 2 years being in Credit origination or evaluation; Experience in project structuring, financial modeling, validation and reviewing financial statements; Knowledge of key areas in Business Banking Commercial; Understanding of key financial indicators and use financial analysis to evaluate strategic options; Robust credit knowledge; Strong ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders and customers; High level of accuracy and attention to detail; Ability to think in terms of integrated solutions; Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
