• University degree in any of the following fields: Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration or Finance. • A relevant master’s degree and/or related professional qualification will be an added advantage e.g. ACCA, CPA, CFA, etc. • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the commercial lending specifically in origination, credit analysis, credit risk structuring and/or sanctioning of transactions covering multiple industry sectors. • Excellent understanding of commercial credit and associated risks • Knowledge of commercial legal environment. • Accredited in commercial and advanced commercial lending. • Strong intellect balanced by practical and pragmatic approach • Decisiveness • Analytical and numerate • Technical Lending Analysis • Risk Management • Build effective working relationships with Colleagues • Communications (written and oral) and presentations • Effective negotiation and influencing • Leadership skills
