Enumerator (Roster)

The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking an Enumerator (Roster) to support monitoring and evaluation activities in Tanzania. The role involves conducting field-based data collection, including baseline, mid-term, and endline assessments, to measure progress and results of various projects under WFP's Country Strategic Plan (2022–2027). The Enumerator will work in collaboration with WFP's Research, Assessment & Monitoring (RAM) unit to gather data on human capital, resilient livelihoods, and nutritious diets. Responsibilities include administering surveys, interviews, and field observations, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and reporting findings to support WFP's goal of achieving Zero Hunger. The position requires travel to duty stations such as Arusha, Dodoma, Kasulu, Mtwara, and Zanzibar, with assignments lasting between 15 to 30 days. Bachelor Degree; 3–5 years of relevant experience; strong data collection and analytical skills; proficiency in local languages (Swahili is essential); familiarity with survey tools and methodologies; ability to work in diverse and challenging environments; commitment to WFP’s values (Integrity, Collaboration, Commitment, Humanity, and Inclusion); willingness to travel to remote locations; basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite); adherence to ethical standards and data privacy protocols.
