Plantation Growth Supervisor

Supervise daily work delivery of coordinators through field accompaniment and weekly check-ins to ensure operational excellence and adherence to standards. Provide targeted coaching on silviculture standards, including reporting discipline, to enhance team performance and compliance. Validate completion of critical silviculture activities such as weeding, pruning, thinning, gap-filling, and fireline maintenance to maintain plantation health and productivity. Identify early warning signs of pests, disease outbreaks, grazing damage, and climate stress to implement proactive mitigation measures and protect plantation assets. Support practical farmer coaching sessions to improve local agricultural practices and ensure sustainable community engagement. Verify the completeness and accuracy of all data submissions to maintain reliable records and reporting for decision-making. Develop and coordinate weekly and monthly workplans with coordinators to align activities with organizational goals and seasonal demands. Enforce strict safety, environmental, and operational standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Assist with nursery operations during peak planting seasons to support seedling production and quality control.

Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field; Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in plantation management, silviculture, or forestry operations; Demonstrated experience in supervisory or team leadership roles within agricultural or forestry settings; Strong knowledge of silviculture practices including weeding, pruning, thinning, gap-filling, and fireline maintenance; Ability to identify pests, diseases, grazing damage, and climate stress indicators; Proficiency in data collection, validation, and reporting; Excellent communication and coaching skills for farmer and team engagement; Familiarity with safety, environmental, and operational compliance standards; Ability to develop and implement workplans; Experience working in agricultural or forestry communities is an advantage.
