Quality Controller at Fastlink Agri Business FASTLINK AGRI-BUSINESS Milling Operations — Kigoma, Tanzania JOB VACANCY QUALITY CONTROLLER (1 Position) Work Station: Kigoma Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Food Technology Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a relevant food processing or quality assurance role KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Establish, implement and monitor quality control standards for all milling and food processing activities in line with national and industry regulations. Inspect and test raw materials (grains and inputs) on arrival to ensure they meet the required quality and safety specifications before processing. Conduct regular sampling and laboratory testing of in-process and finished products to verify quality, moisture content, purity and consistency. Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene and regulatory requirements, including TBS, TFDA and other applicable Tanzanian standards. Monitor the entire milling process and identify deviations, contamination risks or defects, and recommend timely corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of all inspections, test results, batches and quality reports for traceability and audit purposes. Oversee proper storage, handling and packaging of products to preserve quality and prevent spoilage or contamination. Train and guide production and operations staff on quality standards, hygiene practices and food safety procedures. Manage calibration and maintenance schedules of quality testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results. Liaise with management, regulators and auditors, and prepare periodic quality performance reports with improvement recommendations.
