Are you a compassionate, skilled, and patient-centred with experience in maternity and paediatric care? Registered Nurse We are seeking a dedicated Locum Registered Nurse to join our dynamic clinical team and support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. Key Responsibilities - Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to mothers, newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. - Monitor and assess patients, promptly escalating any changes in condition. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Assist in labour, delivery, postnatal care, and neonatal care within your scope of practice. - Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, newborn care, breastfeeding, and health promotion. - Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation. - Collaborate effectively with doctors and the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care. - Adhere to infection prevention and control standards, patient safety protocols, and hospital policies.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution; Valid Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) license; Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in maternity and paediatric nursing; Proficiency in neonatal and paediatric care procedures; Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays; Valid practicing license and current registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
