Senior Auditor

The Senior Auditor is responsible for planning and conducting internal audit engagements to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, governance processes, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies. The role assesses financial and operational activities, identifies areas for improvement, ensures compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and provides recommendations to strengthen organizational performance and accountability. The position involves assessing financial statements, evaluating internal control systems, and advising management on risk mitigation strategies. The Senior Auditor will also collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to statutory requirements and industry best practices.

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Management, or a related field; Strong knowledge and practical application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), financial reporting, and accounting principles; Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, or equivalent are highly desirable; Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience for Bachelor's Degree holders or 3 years for Master's Degree holders; At least 2 years of experience in an Officer position; Experience in auditing financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS is an added advantage
