Payroll Advisor – Level 1

The Investment Officer will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and structuring investment opportunities for Inkomoko’s clients, primarily small and growing businesses in Kenya. The role involves conducting financial due diligence, assessing business models, and providing strategic advisory to clients to enhance their investment readiness. The officer will also manage a portfolio of investments, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with Inkomoko’s mission of fostering entrepreneurship and economic growth. Collaboration with internal teams, including finance and operations, is essential to deliver holistic support to clients. The position requires a strong understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and SME financing in Kenya.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; minimum of 3 years of experience in investment analysis, financial advisory, or related roles; strong financial modeling and valuation skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software; excellent communication and negotiation skills; familiarity with Kenyan SME sector dynamics; CFA or equivalent certification is a plus.
