Financial Director - Group Shared Services Reporting - IFRS - Nairobi, Kenya

We are seeking a highly qualified Financial Director to lead the Group Shared Services and Reporting function for a prominent organization based in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the group, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, and providing strategic leadership to the finance team. Key responsibilities include managing the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, leading the implementation of shared service models, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The role requires close collaboration with senior management to drive financial performance, optimize processes, and support business growth. Additionally, the Financial Director will play a pivotal role in guiding the organization through IFRS compliance and enhancing the efficiency of financial operations across the group.

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably within a multinational or group environment; Strong IFRS knowledge and experience in financial reporting and consolidation; Proven leadership skills with experience managing finance teams in a shared services model; Experience in implementing financial systems and processes; Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities; Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems; Experience working in Africa, particularly in East Africa, is advantageous.
