ICT Associate - Systems Support

The ICT Associate – Systems Support provides technical and operational support to ensure the effective functioning, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ICT systems, applications, and digital tools used by UNOPS programmes and operations. The role supports system users, assists with system updates and testing, contributes to data and information management, and ensures that ICT solutions are reliable, user-friendly, and aligned with operational requirements. Key responsibilities include providing day-to-day technical support for internal web-based tools and digital platforms, maintaining and updating websites and internal portals using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress, troubleshooting basic system, application, and access issues for users, and assisting in testing, documenting, and improving ICT workflows and tools. The position also involves supporting the ICT specialist in developing and maintaining web interfaces and dashboards, updating digital content to ensure functionality, usability, and consistency, integrating data outputs into web platforms, and assisting in data cleaning, validation, and basic analysis using Python and SQL. Additionally, the role includes maintaining structured databases, ensuring data accuracy, supporting the preparation of data-driven reports and visual outputs, and assisting in basic technical documentation, user guides, and system notes. Coordination with internal teams to gather ICT requirements and support continuous improvement of ICT tools and processes is also expected.

Secondary school (or equivalent) with 6 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any discipline with 2 years of relevant experience is required; Relevant experience is defined as experience in ICT support, web development, data analysis, or related technical roles; Fluent in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), and Russian.
