• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field. • MBA in Finance, MSc in Finance, Accounting or Auditing is preferred. • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CISA, CA Zambia or equivalent is preferred. • Minimum of ten years’ supervisory experience in finance and accounting. • Experience managing statutory, donor and internal audit processes. • At least five years’ experience in the NGO sector, including management of multiple donor funds and donor reporting requirements. • Demonstrated proficiency in computerized accounting systems, preferably SAP. • Strong knowledge of ethics, compliance and internal control requirements. • Experience in budget monitoring and systems development. • Experience using SunSystems accounting package is an added advantage. • Strong experience in financial management, analysis and reporting. • Experience managing donor relationships and donor financial reporting. • Strong planning, organizational and follow-through skills. • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels, partners and external stakeholders. • Knowledge of major donors and their regulations.
