Senior Procurement Officer

Responsible for strategic sourcing and coordination of raw materials and services to support manufacturing operations. The role involves overseeing and supervising employees and all activities of the purchasing department, including preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies. The Senior Procurement Officer will review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services to be purchased, manage inventories, and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records. Additional responsibilities include researching and evaluating prospective suppliers, preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports, and performing any other tasks as requested by management. The position requires strong leadership skills to manage the procurement team effectively and ensure seamless operations within the manufacturing environment.

Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management; Strong negotiation and contract management skills; Proficiency in procurement software and tools; Excellent analytical and reporting skills; Ability to manage supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance; Knowledge of procurement policies and procedures; Experience in manufacturing or industrial procurement is an added advantage.
