• Preparation of accurate cost estimates for the construction projects based on standard methods of measurements. • Preparation and evaluation of tender documents. Ensure that all submissions are compliant with project specifications and deadlines. • Support the management of contracts and agreements. Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and cost-control measures. • Conduct on-site measurements and inspections. Gather data to ensure that project work aligns with specifications and quality standards. • Complete any other tasks that may be requested by the project manager in line with the professional obligations of the Quantity Surveyor. • Minimum of 10 years hands on experience working in construction projects. • Should have a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity surveying, Construction management or any other related field. • Full Grade 12 certificate. • Must be proficient in quantity surveying software and Microsoft office. • Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Quantity Surveyors. • Must have strong analytical skills. • Must be self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills as they will work in a team and with clients. • Must be able to work under minimum supervision.
