Senior Accountant And Cost Accountant

The Senior Accountant & Cost Accountant is responsible for managing financial and cost accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, monitoring production costs, maintaining accounting records, preparing budgets, and supporting management with financial analysis. The role ensures compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements while contributing to effective cost control and financial decision-making. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and management reports, monitoring and analyzing production costs (material, labor, overhead), preparing cost reports and variance analysis, developing cost accounting systems and procedures, preparing budgets and financial projections, reconciling general ledger and bank accounts, monitoring inventory valuation, supporting internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, analyzing financial performance, and assisting in implementing accounting systems and internal controls.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance; Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in accounting; Experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment is preferred; Strong knowledge of financial accounting and cost accounting principles; Proficiency in accounting software and computerized accounting systems; Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel; Strong financial reporting and budget preparation skills; Knowledge of inventory costing and cost analysis techniques; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong numerical and financial analysis skills; Excellent organizational and time management skills; High level of accuracy and attention to detail; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team; High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
