The Programme Policy Officer (Fund Management) will be responsible for providing technical and policy guidance on fund management within the Programme Unit. Key responsibilities include overseeing the allocation and utilization of funds in alignment with WFP policies and donor agreements, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing support to programme teams in fund disbursement and reporting. The officer will work closely with finance, logistics, and programme teams to ensure efficient and transparent fund management. Additionally, the role involves monitoring fund utilization, preparing financial reports, and advising on best practices for fund management to enhance programme effectiveness.

Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; Minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional experience in fund management, financial analysis, or programme finance; Experience in international organizations or UN agencies is highly desirable; Strong analytical and financial management skills; Proficiency in financial software and tools; Excellent communication and reporting skills; Fluency in English (both oral and written) is mandatory; Knowledge of additional UN languages (French, Spanish, Arabic) is an asset.
