• Develop and optimise automated machinery and mechanical systems. • Lead mechanical development projects from concept through design, prototyping, testing and validation. • Create 3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks. • Collaborate with automation engineers on mechanical integration and equipment debugging. • Participate in prototype development, testing and industrial field trials. • Analyse technical problems and develop practical engineering solutions. • Support equipment commissioning and optimisation. • Collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers during assembly and commissioning. • Prepare technical documentation, test reports and manufacturing documentation. • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline. • Professional experience in mechanical design and development of automated machinery. • Strong experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD. • Experience with customised/non-standard automation equipment. • Good knowledge of machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding and assembly. • Experience taking products from concept through prototype, testing and validation.
