• Correctly welds pieces of metal together. • Prepares materials for welding, cuts, grinds, and cleans metal. • Utilizes fabrication skills to complete all phases of fabrication. • Provides feedback and input into the fabrication process regarding order of assembly, design, materials and fixtures. • Rebuilds drill pipes by welding tools together. • Able to learn and practice bit grinding. • Ability to learn and repair rocktools such as hammers and bits. • Ability to drive a truck of class C licence and HiAB operation is an added advantage.
