Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Kasdine Electrical Engineering Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. - Diagnose electrical faults and perform necessary repairs to ensure uninterrupted power supply. - Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to plan and execute installations. - Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices. - Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues and mitigate risks. - Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot complex electrical problems. - Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and inventory of parts. - Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices. - Respond promptly to emergency calls and service requests to minimize downtime. - Stay updated on emerging technologies and advancements in the electrical engineering field.

Qualifications and Experience: - Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution. - Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Technician. - Valid electrical license or certification (where applicable). - Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces. - Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and tools.
